Overview
LJ Social & Brand Co. (“I”, “my”, “we”) is a sole-trader business run by Leah Jackson, providing social media management, branding and content creation services to clients across the UK remotely. This policy explains what information I collect through this website, how I use it and your rights in relation to it.
Information I collect
When you use the enquiry form on this website, I collect the details you choose to submit — typically your name, email address, telephone number and your message about your business and the support you are interested in. I only collect the information you provide voluntarily.
I do not use this website to collect sensitive personal data. If you share anything sensitive in your message, please only include what is necessary for me to respond to your enquiry.
How I use your information
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss your requirements.
- To provide the services you commission — such as planning, content and branding work.
- To send you information you have requested.
- To keep a record of our correspondence and agreement, where relevant.
I will not use your information to send you marketing emails unless you have asked to receive them, and I will never sell your data to third parties.
The enquiry form & cookies
The enquiry form on the Contact page is provided through a third-party form platform (T4U Media). When you submit the form, your details are sent securely to my business inbox so I can respond to you. The form platform may set a cookie on your browser to help the form function correctly and remember your consent preferences. This cookie is set only when you interact with the form.
I do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this website. If I add analytics in future, I will update this policy and give you a way to manage cookies.
How long I keep your information
I keep enquiry correspondence for as long as is necessary to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you get in touch again. Client records are kept for the duration of our working relationship and for a reasonable period after it ends, in line with record-keeping and tax requirements.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal information I hold about you.
- Ask me to correct information that is inaccurate.
- Ask me to delete your information, subject to any legal record-keeping obligations.
- Object to or restrict how I use your information.
- Withdraw any consent you have given at any time (this does not affect processing already carried out).
To exercise any of these rights, please contact me using the details below.
Sharing your information
I do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing. I may share limited information with service providers who help me run my business — for example the form platform that delivers your enquiry to me — only where necessary and under appropriate confidentiality. I will only disclose your information where required to do so by law.
